On that particular night the IMFP welcomes Marseille jazz des cinq continents for a magical evening. A unique musician who has drawn its inspiration from its roots takes the stage.
Son of a Guadeloupian mother and a French Jewish father, both writers, Jacques Schwarz Bart possesses a force that touches us in the heart and takes us on a journey into the rhythms of the sacred culture of Haitian Voodoo. Accompanied by the pianist Grégory Privat, Stéphane Kerecki on double bass, Arnaud Dolmen on drums and the voice of Moonlight Benjamin, Jazz by Brother Jacques, takes over us and overwhelms us with his generosity and lyricism.
