Since they met thirteen years ago, Adrien Sanchez, Maxime Sanchez, Florent Nisse and Gautier Garrigue have individually made a name for themselves on the French and European jazz scene, with a succession of projects and collaborations with renowned artists and emerging groups. One of these bands has become the common thread of their respective careers: Flash Pig.
Born from a common desire to play an open, uncompromising music that would not turn its back on a certain jazz tradition, Flash Pig is a quartet that emphasizes the collective more than the individual and that finds its inspiration as much in the jazz scene of the 70’s as in the sound and spirit of some contemporary musicians like Sean Paul or Lana Del Rey. Awarded many prizes, the quartet has a rare density, never demonstrative, confirming the status of spearhead of Flash Pig in the new scene.
