It is through poetry that Sandrine Bonnaire installs us in Jazz because it is also a question of being there in direct link with the human. We wanted to open the space of our Festival to an outstanding actress, a nature for whom freedom, art and music are both the body and the breath of the world. For this musical reading, her gaze and voice are embodied in the poetry of Joël Bastard, which becomes melody and rhythm… and she is accompanied by the great trumpet player Erik Truffaz. “La Clameur des Lucioles” will be the first act of a “Bonne Soirée” where, after sharing a creative meal, you will be able to see Sandrine Bonnaire in one of her great film roles “Est/Ouest” by Régis Wargnier (1999/FR/120′).
