The origin of the M.O.M. trio is an unexpected meeting on the set of the Netflix series “The Eddy”. The connection between Jowee Omicil and Louis Moutin was immediate and instinctive. François Moutin, visiting Paris at the end of the shoot, joins Jowee and Louis for a few home sessions. The trio improvises freely without any prior convention, carried along in the moment by the thread of imagination and by collective listening. A sound emerges, melodies are born. A universe opens up, at the point of balance of the three personalities.
Naturally, the trio’s creativity seems to flow, as fluid as it is jubilant. M.O.M. is music that is joyful, intense, deep and spontaneous. A few months later, no framework, no constraints, we open the doors wide.
M.O.M., which stands for Moutin / Omicil / Moutin, is the meeting of three “kids” who are determined to fight it out with everything that this music can offer.
An evening of Jazz des cinq continents in co-production with Le Cloître.
