It all starts with an opportunity, that of the France/Portugal year, and then the meeting takes place: a book, a voice, a drum, a double bass, then jazz can express itself even if sometimes it has an air of poetry. Jazz des cinq continents is fond of these artistic crossings and likes to make them appear in singular spaces. This is the case of the theater of the Camargo Foundation in Cassis, with the sea in the background and the stars. The book is Pessoa’s Intranquillité, the voice is Fréderic Pierrot’s, Jean Christophe Marguet’s drums and Claude Tchamitchian’s double bass for a tumultuous introspection, entangled in a stream of thoughts and music and sounds.
