Propelled by its two drummers, Spiritus Fonktus develops its numerous inspirations through intense compositions. An electric journey, combining vintage and modernity, power and subtlety, energy and creativity. On percussive rhythms, the voices cohabit with rich instrumental parts, developed through themes, improvisations, riffs and atmospheres, in a generous and deep sound. A very personal and original universe emerges from it, where one finds accents of funk, soul, pop, jazz, rock, afrobeat, electro… An unusual group at the service of a music without border always faithful to its first inspiration, the groove!
An evening of jazz from five continents with the support of the Metropole Aix-Marseille-Provence and in partnership with the City of Gardanne.
