Kevin Reveyrand is an artist particularly in demand in Europe (he toured with Charles Aznavour) and also in the United States where he performs on the most prestigious stages of the world, notably with Christopher Cross or Asa. Bassist, double bassist, composer or arranger, he is regularly solicited as a sideman for studio sessions and participates in many musical projects. Paul Personne, Billy Cobham, Mike Stern, Nguyen Lê…And for a few years, he has been developing his own projects where he gathers his great science of groove and cultures that he has crossed. Kévin Reveyrand’s music resembles him: a natural elegance, without artifice. It unfolds according to the compositions, sometimes melodic, sometimes festive, sometimes contemplative. The choice of instrumentation and the quality of the musicians who surround him give his projects a clear identity, that of a jazz with Mediterranean impulses full of sunshine and optimism. It is this impulse that he will transmit to us under the soft night of the pond.
